When is a good time to sell my practice?

We realize that selling your practice is an extremely important decision for you. Some doctors sell their practice because they want to extract some value from the business they spent their life building, others are tired of the administrative headaches and want to focus on practicing medicine, while others may have medical conditions that warrant the need to step out of medicine to focus on their health. Whatever the reason, we suggest a 1-2 year window

What happens to my practice once I transition my practice to Monarch Health System

Monarch Health System integration team specializes in transitioning you, your staff, and your patients to ensure that the transition is communicated transparently, proactively, and on a timely basis.

Additionally, we support transitioning staff with robust onboarding training.

How will you determine the value of my practice

Once you decide that you want to sell your practice, we will start the due diligence process where we seek to learn more about you and your practice. Our goal is to be minimally intrusive but gather enough information to provide the best value for your practice.

Practice financials, clinical performance, and patient panel rosters are some of the items that we look for as part of our due diligence process.

If you buy my practice, do I also need to become a Monarch Health System physician?

There are a few different options that we can consider. However, we do require that the selling physician agrees to stay with us for a minimum of 8 months to assist with the transition of the practice and the new replacement physician.
